GERMAN LANGUAGE WORKSHOP

Karima, a native German speaker, grew up in Hamburg, Germany. She started playing guitar at age 11. Parallel to studying classical guitar she soon got into contemporary music, writing her own songs and playing electrical guitar in several bands.

In 1998 she decided to attend the world-renowned 'Musicians Institute' (GIT) in Los Angeles, USA to study contemporary music. After graduating with a top degree, she did a practical training in a Hollywood-based recording studio.

Currently Karima is living in Hamburg, Germany where she is working as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and music instructor. She is writing, recording and producing original music as well as performing in Germany and the U.S.

By now she has more than 20 years of teaching experience working for and being the department head of music schools and as a private instructor with the ages of her students ranging from 6 to 80 years. She also develops and conducts workshops.
